A dreamlike journey through fragments of the past, where 1960s suburban life unfolds with surreal twists. Warm sunlight, faded memories, and cinematic visuals blend into a haunting yet nostalgic music video. Time dissolves, and the familiar becomes strange—like remembering a dream you never had.
Director Statement
The music video is a contemplation of the fluidity of memory, made through the aesthetic language of the 1960s. Instead of reproducing the 1960s, I wanted to recreate the emotional essence of that period—the flicker of dance halls, the fragmented light, and the faces that fade.
I used AI technology to combine the atmosphere of the 1960s with the movement of the present day, bringing the two eras into one visual space. This repetition of movement, along with the play of textures, reflects how memory changes due to the influence of nostalgia. The 1960s are not revived but reinterpreted in fragmented form.
SYNOPSIS
In a space that represents a modern dance environment, where all faces are hidden behind the veil of darkness and light, the fragmented images of a 1960s celebration are evoked in black and white. There is a trance-like movement of the bodies, bringing the past and the present into one space. This dance acts as a bridge between two eras—a flickering memory that cannot be defined in any specific time frame.
